A tiny piece of Matthew's spirit - what an adventurous one it was - is now on top of Aconcagua. Thank you Matthew for being the kind of friend that we all try to be and most of us fail to become.
WooHoo! Roedel's just got the blog forwarded to us on 4/12 and we just celebrated the Matt Dude spirit day yesterday. What a fortuitous time to see this pic. Thanks, man on top of the world. We know the Dude was with you in many ways including at your side watching out for you, just didn't leave prints. Peter roedel4@yahoo.com
We've officially hung up our vagabond hats. We are back at work and are actually living in a house - not a tent.
But that doesn't mean we're not seeking out adventure whenever (and wherever) we can.
For those who just want to read about our 2,650-mile trek along the Pacific Crest Trail, scroll down and check out our slideshows or go to the archives. We started the trailApril 29, 2008 and finished Sept. 25, 2008.
What's up with the blog slogan, anyway?
We don't intend to traipse around in Chanel and Christopher Josse duds, thank you.
We're talking about how we approach life, including the hard parts. We were inspired by Clint Eastwood's The Eiger Sanction of all things. This explains it all.
