My second day in San Juan we spent the afternoon outside of the city visiting various sites including Las Montañas de Azul or Blue Mountains. the landscape around San Juan is impressive and vast. Locals from San Juan often leave the city on the weekends and travel to a nearby dam or resovoir. There are a number of wineries and weekend homes near here.
