Only in Argentina can you drop into one of the dozens of kiosks that sell snacks and water and find steak-flavored chips. Lays makes these and they are Bife de Lomo although Wim, pictured above, argued that the image on the bag is not Bife de Lomo.
Have you had the chance to try the ham and cheese flavored crackers yet? I highly suggest them (on the package they have the cracker with a piece of ham and cheese on it and although you think it just would taste good with your cracker the truth is the cracker is flavored ham and cheese). I would suggest it especially for people like me who get sick when they eat ham but still like the taste. These crackers are the best of both worlds.
We've officially hung up our vagabond hats. We are back at work and are actually living in a house - not a tent.
But that doesn't mean we're not seeking out adventure whenever (and wherever) we can.
For those who just want to read about our 2,650-mile trek along the Pacific Crest Trail, scroll down and check out our slideshows or go to the archives. We started the trailApril 29, 2008 and finished Sept. 25, 2008.
What's up with the blog slogan, anyway?
We don't intend to traipse around in Chanel and Christopher Josse duds, thank you.
We're talking about how we approach life, including the hard parts. We were inspired by Clint Eastwood's The Eiger Sanction of all things. This explains it all.
