September 8, 2008 Pacific Crest Trail

Destination: Headwaters Pioneer Creek, Wenatchee National Forest
Miles: 27

Adrian: Hidden climbs and lots of clear cuts are what stand out in my mind about today. Also, the trail seemed to follow an illogical course, needlessly up and down hills that offered no view and could have easily been contoured around. Ba!

Kirsten: Some of the hikers in our loosely formed group have taken to calling us "the fellowship of the ring." It's cheesy, I know. It's also funny since Jesse is not a fan of The Lord of the Rings movies.

The trail today is not worth writing about. It went up and down and around. And then we stopped and camped. The end.
